Matcha Ginger Tea


A potent pick-me-up for those cool summer nights, our Matcha Ginger Tea has a mild, yet pleasant bite that pairs well with the rich flavor of Matcha.


Makes one 12-oz. serving

 

Ingredients 

 

1 tsp Lifetime Tea Izu Matcha

1½ cupsFiltered Water

2 tsps.Ginger, sliced

1 Lemon

 

Note: While lemon can be used as a finishing touch for flavor, feel free to replace or supplement the lemon with a sweetener of your choice depending on your preferences.

 

Directions 

 

1. In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add ginger and simmer for 20 minutes, then strain.

 

2. Spoon Matcha into a large mug. Add a little bit of the ginger water and whisk briskly to combine. Add the rest of the ginger water and whisk again.

 

3. (Optional) Add a few squeezes of lemon and/or sweetener for taste.
